The Conselleria d’Educació i Universitats has begun the process of contracting the supply of floor fans for the air conditioning of educational spaces in Mallorca, Menorca, Eivissa and Formentera.

The Conselleria d’Educació i Universitats calls for tenders for the purchase of 2,250 fans for schools on the Islands

According to the preliminary report of the Pilot Plan for Air Conditioning of Educational Centres, 2,250 fans were needed to cope with the start of the 24-25 school year. This is a short-term measure, with which 1,525 fans will be delivered to schools in Mallorca; 225 in Menorca; 450 in Eivissa and Formentera, and 50 more in the Conselleria d’Educació i Universitats.

In total, 72,418.50 euros will be invested, and the expenditure per island will be 49,083.65 euros for Mallorca, 7,241.85 euros for Menorca, and 14,483.70 euros for Eivissa and Formentera. The remaining €1,609.30 will go towards the purchase of fans for spaces belonging to the Conselleria d’Educació.
