Sport2live is an association whose aim is to achieve community integration through physical activity, exercise and sport to facilitate the recovery and rehabilitation processes of people with mental health problems and/or addictions.
The programme sessions, which will initially be held twice a week in the Hospital’s gymnasium, will enable patients to improve their physical condition, self-esteem, self-confidence, ability to focus on objectives – both sporting and personal -, perseverance and long-term rewards, as well as acquiring social skills, as they will be held in a group.
The Day Hospital is made up of a multidisciplinary team that aims to improve self-care and affectivity and initiate a process of psychosocial rehabilitation for integration into society, improve interpersonal relationships, avoid relapses or reduce their number, prevent the possible deterioration that a prolonged psychiatric disorder can cause, avoid the disconnection from the environment that hospital admission can entail and improve family dynamics.
