The Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition (AESAN) has been informed by the Autonomous Community of Catalonia, through the Coordinated System for the Rapid Exchange of Information (SCIRI), of the presence of foreign bodies in Aldi, Lidl and Hacendado ice creams, and people who have the products included in this alert at home are advised to refrain from consuming them and return them to the point of purchase.

The Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition has been informed through the Coordinated System for the Rapid Exchange of Information (SCIRI), of an alert notification sent by the health authorities of Catalonia, regarding the presence of foreign bodies in several ice cream references.

The companies Aldi, Lidl and Mercadona are recalling the affected products from their customers.

The affected products are:

This information has been transferred to the competent authorities of the Autonomous Communities through the Coordinated System for the Rapid Exchange of Information (SCIRI) in order to verify the withdrawal of the affected products from the marketing channels.
