The mayor of Inca, Virgilio Moreno, and the president of the Patronato de la Agrupación Pro Minusválidos Psíquicos de la Comarca de Inca (Patronato Juan XXIII), Pere Rotger, have signed today the renewal of the collaboration agreement to contribute to the development of the activities and programmes developed by the association, as well as to support people with disabilities in the municipality. Also present at the signing ceremony was the Councillor for Social Services and the Elderly, Maria Antònia Pons.

Thanks to the signing of this agreement, once again this year, the City Council of Inca gives a grant of 25,000 euros to the Patronato Juan XXIII in order to finance part of the expenses derived from the development of the different services offered to people with intellectual disabilities and their families during all stages of life. Likewise, within the framework of this subsidy, the Town Council of Inca also grants an annual aid for the summer leisure service offered by the Patronato Juan XXIII.

“From the City Council of Inca we have always been at the side of the Patronato Juan XXIII and we are very happy to be able to renew this collaboration agreement and thus contribute to improving the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities in the region of Inca and their families,” says Moreno.

For her part, Councillor Pons stresses that “Our commitment to the Patronato Juan XXIII is firm. Inca’s inking centre carries out an essential task in the region of Inca and this annual aid allows them to continue to grow and increase their number of users”.

The Patronato Juan XXIII de la Agrupación Pro Minusválidos Psíquicos de la Comarca de Inca is a non-profit association constituted in 1975, which offers services to people with intellectual disabilities and their families during all stages of life. Its main objectives are to improve the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities (ID) of the Comarca of Inca and their families, as well as to respond to the needs and desires of people with ID and their families, with an operation based on principles of quality.
