The Minister of Mobility and Housing, Josep Marí, has appointed Juan Vicente Roselló Riera as managing director of the public entity Ports de les Illes Balears.

Juan Vicente Roselló will now take over the post from Cristina Barahona, who has resigned for professional reasons.

Until now, Juan Vicente Roselló Riera has been the manager of the Club Náutico de San Antonio de Portmany, in Ibiza. With a degree in Business Studies, he has studied management at the IE Business School in Barcelona, such as the Advanced Programme in General Management and the OW Executive Programme on Leadership and People Management. His professional career, with 29 years of experience, is linked to the nautical world through different projects and management areas of the Sant Antoni Yacht Club.

The Regional Ministry of Mobility and Housing has thanked Cristina Barahona for her work as head of the management of Ports IB in recent years and has recognised her contribution to the promotion of the Ports Improvement Plan of this community.
