The City Council and the Chamber of Commerce have signed an agreement to digitally promote the second commercial voucher campaign.

Inca launches 300,000 euros in discount vouchers

140 companies have signed up for the initiative and will offer their products with the City Council vouchers.

From 15 February, the Inca City Council is launching the second edition of the reiniciam Inca vouchers for citizens. The aim of this initiative is to promote the productive fabric of the city and local consumption. Now that the registration period has ended, a total of 140 companies from Inca have signed up for the municipal initiative, a figure that represents a 20% increase over the previous edition.

The mayor of Inca, Virgilio Moreno, and the president of the Chamber of Commerce of Mallorca, Eduardo Soriano, accompanied by the councillor for innovation and enterprise, María José Fernández, have signed the collaboration agreement, through which the Chamber provides all the digital infrastructure to make the campaign a success.

“From the City Council we are very pleased to be able to launch, once again, the campaign of commercial vouchers, a tool that, as in the previous edition, will serve to revitalise the local economy,” said Moreno. For his part, Soriano, was thanked for being able to participate, once again, in this initiative that “contributes to the revitalisation of local businesses thanks to public-private collaboration”.

Thus, from 15 February to 15 April, citizens can access a maximum of 4 discount vouchers that can be used in a single purchase or establishment, or apply them in different purchases or establishments, provided that the investment has a minimum value of thirty euros for each voucher. Each discount voucher has a value of €15.00. A total of 20,000 vouchers can be distributed.

The first phase, from 15 February to 15 March, will be exclusively for people registered in Inca. From 16th March until the end of the campaign, it will be open to all citizens of the Balearic Islands. The process of joining and formalising the process of issuing, obtaining, applying, exchanging, compensating and verifying the discount vouchers will be carried out through the technological platform: www.incaciutat.com/bonsreiniciaminca.

“We are in constant contact with the self-employed, entrepreneurs and associations to get to know their needs first hand and to be able to offer them effective and agile solutions to promote economic activity and jobs in our city,” says Fernández.

In order to redeem the vouchers, citizens will only have to go to one of the establishments participating in the companion and with their ID card they will be able to apply the 15 euro discount on their purchase. The list of businesses participating in the voucher campaign can be consulted on the campaign website.
