Education announces financial aid for companies and non-profit organizations

Companies will receive up to 2,000 € for each student hired during the period between September 1, 2023 and August 31, 2024.

The Ministry of Education and Universities, through the Directorate General of Vocational Training and Continuing Teacher Training and the Official Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Services and Navigation of Mallorca, announces financial aid for companies and non-profit organizations that have hired students enrolled in one of the vocational training courses of the educational system in the intensive dual mode in the Balearic Islands.

This call for grants aims, on the one hand, to promote excellence in the practical training of vocational training students in the intensive dual mode by improving the conditions in which companies and non-profit organizations offer this training, and, on the other hand, to compensate them for the effort, time and dedication they invest in the training of these students.

Companies and non-profit organizations that have hired at least one student of a vocational training cycle of the educational system in the intensive dual mode in the Balearic Islands, with a training contract in alternation, within the period between September 1, 2023 and August 31, 2024, may be beneficiaries of the aid.

In this sense, it is expected to allocate up to 400,000 € to these grants for the academic year 2023-2024, so that companies will receive up to 2,000 € for each student, up to a maximum of six students per company, who have been hired throughout the period between September 1, 2023 and August 31, 2024.
