From February 1, line 401 incorporates the passage through the hospital at peak hours for the staff of the centre.

To facilitate and promote mobility in public transport among all citizens, the Transport Consortium of Mallorca (CTM), continuously adapts the service to the needs of users. In this sense, to encourage the working staff of the Son Llàtzer Hospital living in the Pla and Llevant of Mallorca to access the workplace by public transport, the stop at the hospital centre (Hospital Son Llàtzer – 40127) is incorporated in the route of the line 401 Cala Millor – Palma of the TIB bus network.

TIB improves the connectivity of Son Llàtzer Hospital

Thus, from Thursday, February 1, this bus line, which comes from Cala Millor, Sa Coma, s’Illot, Portocristo, Manacor and Vilafranca, among other towns, will circulate through Son Llàtzer Hospital at the arrival and departure times of the main work shifts: at 8.00 am, 3.00 pm, 8.00 pm and 10.00 pm.

With the incorporation of line 401, the intercity bus service in Son Llàtzer has been extended. Currently, users who want to travel to the hospital can also do so with the TIB lines 304 Inca – Sencelles – Palma, 341 Pòrtol – Son Llàtzer, 403 Campos – Algaida – Palma and 508 Sa Ràpita – Palma .

From CTM, it is reminded that during 2024 public transport is free if you travel with the Intermodal Card. The card can be requested at any of the TIB user service offices in Alcúdia, Inca, Manacor and Palma or the municipal offices of Llucmajor, Marratxí, Magaluf and Santa Ponça, and it can also be processed telematically.
