The President of the Government of the Balearic Islands, Margalida Prohens, along with the Councillor of Families and Social Affairs, Catalina Cirer, attended the reading of the manifesto on the occasion of 8M, International Women’s Day, which took place this afternoon at the Misericordia Cultural Centre.

The event began with a music and dance performance, followed by a welcoming speech by the president of the Consell de Mallorca, Llorenç Galmés, who introduced the video of the campaign “In Mallorca, free women”. Afterwards, the women featured in the video read the manifesto on the occasion of 8M.

The President of the Government also addressed a few words to the attendees during the event, which concluded with a performance by the Establiments Women’s Choir.
