The Health Service of the Balearic Islands, through the Lawyer’s Office of the Autonomous Community, has delivered today documentation to the National Court to prove the damage suffered by the Autonomous Community and to go ahead with the appearance in the case investigating the purchase of protective masks for the value of 3,701,500 € through the company Soluciones de Gestión.

Health provides documentation to prove the damage to the Autonomous Community

The Government of the Balearic Islands understands that there are sufficient elements to appear and claim the full amount of the contract for the purchase of masks and has requested the European Union to decertify this contract to avoid future sanctions from European bodies.

The Health Service will use all the means at its disposal to recover those 3.7 million euros for the purchase of the masks that the Audiencia Nacional and the European Public Prosecutor’s Office are investigating.
