The general director of the Health Service, Javier Ureña, has appointed Sergio Rodríguez as the new manager of the public company Gestión Sanitaria y Asistencial (GSAIB). Sergio Rodríguez graduated in Law from the University of Navarra in 2009 and has worked as a senior technician of the administrative function in the Heritage Area of the Health Service since 2019, in tasks of promoting contracts for public works and services for the Administration, processing leases and relations with other administrations.

Likewise, the management of the Hospital Universitario Son Espases has appointed Natalia Vallés Ruiz as the new Director of Nursing. Natalia Vallés joins the position after a long career as a nurse at the Hospital.

The new director has a degree in Nursing from the University of Valladolid; she is also an auxiliary nursing care technician (TCAE) and is currently studying for a degree in Psychology. She has a master’s degree in clinical research and an international master’s degree in organ, tissue and cell donation for transplantation. She has also completed two international courses in transplant coordination, tissue banking and advanced therapies.
