How did Toni Sans Mora get started in the world of competition?
Well, it runs in my family, my mother already raced cars, she was one of the first women to compete in mountain and rally races in Mallorca, so I spent my childhood among cars and racing drivers.
Since the world of real competition is very expensive and in videos of the RFEDA
on their website (when unfortunately COVID settled in Spain and our lives stopped) I saw that they made virtual and official Spanish championships organized by Club Simracing through the RFEDA also competing with the best drivers of real competitions in Spain. So, I decided to try the experience, 3 years ago, what I didn’t imagine was that it was also an expensive hobby. Between computer equipment, a base with steering wheel, pedals, gear shift and handbrake and a structure to put it all on, it all depends on the qualities you put in.

How would Toni Sans Mora describe the RFEDA gala?
Honestly, for every driver or racing fan, it is an experience that you should feel and live at least once in your life. The recognition that the RFEDA gives to all the Spanish champions is worth seeing.
It is difficult to express in words what it feels like to be among the greatest in Spain and Europe. It is a unique experience to be able to share a conversation with the best drivers, one on one.
These conversations are the dream of every rider and they allow you to meet great champions such as Josepa Iraola (Spanish and European mountain champion), and Joan Vinyes, who is a true champion.
Joan Vinyes, who is a rally champion despite his age, Miriam Antelo (Spanish Junior Co-driver Champion), Cohete Suarez and many more.
I would also highlight the tension before the interviews (one who is not used to it), photos and journalists.
It is a mountain of sensations and feelings to be with people you have seen on TV or live in some climbs or rallies of the different championships in Spain.
What is Simracing for Toni Sans Mora?
Simracing is defined as a motorsport discipline. It focuses on competing in car races using driving simulators. It focuses on achieving the most realistic and faithful driving experience possible. This is achieved through a combination of state-of-the-art hardware and software.
The cars used in Simracing can range from recreations of cars that compete in reality in any automotive discipline, to virtual creations proposed by drivers and simulation teams, also known as Simracers. In this way, a detail and design of the car is achieved that makes it unique. It is quite common for Simracers to have their simulation structure where their steering wheels and pedals are located, the so-called Sim Racing Cockpit.
How do you get on the podium in a rally?
The rally is a challenge for the drivers, who have to go through a series of stages and timed sections as quickly as possible, so that the winner is the one who, with the sum of his partial results, proves that he drove through all the sections in the shortest time.

What is Toni Sans Mora’s career like?
After 3 years competing in these championships, in 2022 I got two Spanish Championship runner-ups in Hillclimb, and in 2023 I got my first Spanish Rally Championship together with two more Spanish Championship runner-ups in Hillclimb and a third place in Autocross, thanks also to a small family that we form the Overlimits team, also currently the best Simracing team in Spain, getting already several real tests with official vehicles.
What new challenges await Toni Sans Mora?
The challenges for 2024 would be to find a good sponsor and reaffirm again the Spanish Virtual Rally Championship along with some Spanish Hillclimb Championship, and to be able to access some real tests of the Spanish Championship thanks to getting some of these Championships, although for this summer there may be some real test, there is still nothing official or confirmed.
