The Regional Ministry of Education and Universities has opened the access and admission procedure for enrolment in higher artistic studies in drama, music and design.

As for applications for enrolment in higher artistic education in the Balearic Islands for the 2024/2025 academic year for people over 19 years of age who do not meet the academic requirements, enrolment for the general exam can be made between 15 and 26 April and the exam is scheduled to take place on 7 May.

For those applicants who meet the academic requirements, which are: to have a baccalaureate or equivalent, to have passed the university entrance exam for those over 25 years of age, to hold the title of Specialist Technician or Higher Technician in vocational training and to pass the specific entrance exam established for each course, the timetables are as follows:

In the case of the Escuela de Arte y Superior de Diseño de las Islas Baleares (EASDIB), the telematic registration procedure for the specific test will be between 20 and 31 May. The test will be held on 28 June.

The calendar of access and admission process at the Balearic School of Dramatic Arts (ESADIB) for the next academic year states that the telematic registration for the specific test for people who meet the academic requirements will be between 16 May and 9 June and the test will be held between 1 and 4 July.

Finally, to register for the entrance exams to higher music education at the Conservatori Superior de Música de les Illes Balears (CSMIB) for the 2024/2025 academic year, online registration will be open between 10th May and 9th June, and the exams will be held from 17th to 22nd June.

In September, the Regional Ministry will open an extraordinary call for applications, which will begin with online registration for the general and specific EASDIB exams between 2 and 5 September. The general test is scheduled to take place on 12 September, while the specific test will be held on 19 September.

The dates for the extraordinary registration process for the ESABID specific test are between 1 and 25 July. The date of the test will be between 2 and 5 September.

Finally, registration for the CSMIB specific test will open on 1 August and close on 1 September and the entrance test will be held on 9 September.
