Another of the most eagerly awaited events will begin at 12:45h and we will be able to attend the Inauguration of the Photography Exhibition and the Poster Competition for Sa Fira de Sa Sabata 2025. The winning poster will be unveiled and will depict the Fira de Sa Sabata in the year 2025. The sale of footwear will be another of the attractions of Saturday’s event, which will also be held on Sunday 2 June.
Sunday the 2nd of June will feature activities for all ages. One of the first events is a heel race which we will be able to attend on Sunday morning. In the afternoon, at 6.30 p.m. there will be an artisan shoe-making event by a group of local craftsmen.
Festive events will continue on Saturday 8th June with the ‘Baila con Mar’ Festival.

The councillor for Fiestas, Toni Pérez, describes this Fira as: ‘Very much awaited’. He vindicates the work carried out by the artisans and footwear manufacturers of Lloseta. He invites us to: ‘Make people and enjoy them, with a wide range of activities adapted to all audiences’. He is grateful for the: ‘Great social involvement, which is essential for the Fira to have the participation of everyone and to be a showcase of the tradition of Lloseta adapted to modernity’.
Javier González, as mayor, comments: ‘It is a Fira that recalls our essence, history and tradition. Modernity meets tradition in a few days of celebration that are the perfect time to remember our parents and grandparents. Their effort and sacrifice to give us a better future’. That is why he invites us:’ To get to know this Fira. To go out into the street and visit its establishments, complementing the visit to the Fira with our rich gastronomy’.

With regard to what visitors will find, he maintains that ‘it continues along the same lines as in previous years, but handicrafts have made their way in, bringing more variety. There are only two shoe factories left in the shoe industry, so the Fira is a tribute to the value of this work’. It will be an opportunity to spend a different Sunday and to be able to buy high quality articles at good prices’. All this has been possible thanks to the collaboration of the town’s social fabric: ‘Fortunately, we have many associations that are very involved, who have worked to ensure that everything goes very well’.
