The service will be extended with the contracting company Externa Servicios Generales de Empresa SL.

The Consell de Govern of today, 28th June, has authorised the extension of the contract of the service of school transport escort for public schools in Mallorca for the next academic year, for a maximum amount of 1.224.938 euros.

The government earmarks 1.2 million for the school transport-escort service in Mallorca

The amount is broken down into 367,481.40 euros for this year and the rest, a total of 857,456.60 euros, for 2025.

In total, there are 213 monitors and 5 coordinators who supervise the children who use the school buses of public schools in Mallorca.

The Regional Ministry of Education and Universities contracts this service for the different public schools in the Balearic Islands to guarantee an adequate school transport service for the pupils who have this right during the next school year.
