According to a report by the director of the Institut Balear de la Dona (IBDONA), the advance payment of 100 % without any prior requirement for the beneficiary to provide any guarantee is justified by the fact that these are non-profit organisations that generally have limited liquid or cash resources. Moreover, these entities do not usually enjoy the privilege of having the assets that would enable them to carry out credit operations.
The subsidies provided for in the agreement are intended to support women’s associations and socio-cultural participation and to promote equal opportunities between women and men to eradicate gender violence, achieving greater social and employment inclusion of the most disadvantaged groups and those at risk of social exclusion, as well as promoting their access and participation in all spheres of society.
