The contract is to be completed in six months, with Phase 2 works scheduled to begin in November 2024.

Ports de les Illes Balears (PortsIB) has announced the start of the procedure for the awarding and execution of the project for the rehabilitation and repair of cracks and landslides in several docks located in the port of Portocolom, Phase 2. This initiative aims to guarantee the safety and operating conditions of the port service, thus responding to the urgent needs arising from the deterioration and pathologies detected in different docks of the port.

The tender budget for the project amounts to 1,143,389.92 euros (VAT excluded), with a total amount of 1,383,501.80 euros (VAT included). This amount includes a specific item for waste management, for 8,164.51 euros (VAT excluded) and 8,980.96 euros (VAT included). This work will be financed by the Ports de les Illes Balears budget.

The contract execution period is six months, with work scheduled to begin in November 2024. This schedule has been planned taking into account the complexity of the refurbishment work and the need to minimise interference with day-to-day port activities.
