The aid is divided into two total amounts of EUR 625,000 for 2005 and 2026.
The advance payment of this aid facilitates the management of the federations, especially the smaller ones and those with fewer resources of their own.
The Consell de Govern has approved, at the request of the Directorate General of Sports, to make available to the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sports, a maximum amount of 1,250,000 euros to advance the payment of aid to sports federations to cover expenses arising from their activities.

In the Balearic Islands, sports federations together manage around 110,000 licences and approximately 2,300 sports clubs. The advance payment of aid for the costs of their activities facilitates the day-to-day management of these entities, preventing them from having to advance their funds or ask for loans to be able to meet their day-to-day needs. This measure is considered very necessary, especially for smaller federations with smaller annual budgets.
The overall budget is broken down into two annual instalments of 625,000 euros for 2024 and 2025. In this sense, the advance payment of the amount of the subsidies derived from the call for aid for expenses derived from the ordinary activity of the sports federations of the Balearic Islands has been approved.
