This week the Department of Economy and General Services is releasing a set of popular stickers Made in Menorca. These are typical Menorcan expressions widely used by all the inhabitants of the island, such as ‘Va gros’, ‘Ja bailam’ or ‘Seny, que de cerebro ya venden’.

The Department of Economy and General Services creates and releases stickers with typical Menorcan expressions

These illustrated ‘stickers’ can be used on the WhatsApp messaging application, to give visibility to the island’s customs and traditions during everyday conversations with friends and family. This initiative aims to bring young people, in a fun, entertaining and different way, these sayings of the culture ‘Made in Menorca’.

Currently, you can download and use these 10 stickers attached, but over the coming weeks, more typical expressions will be available for the WhatsApp application.

To use these stickers, you will have to follow the following instructions:

• Download the images attached to this press release and save them.
• Open the WhatsApp application.
• Open a conversation.
• Select the option to send stickers.
• Once selected, on the left hand side you will see the ‘Create’ option.
• Press the create button and select one of the images you have downloaded to create the first Made in Menorca sticker.
• Now you have your sticker and save it to start using it.
