The addendum aims to comply with the European Commission’s requirements regarding goals and objectives, justification and traceability.
The Consell de Govern has authorised an addendum to the collaboration agreement between the Ministry of Social Rights, Consumer Affairs and Agenda 2030 and the Autonomous Community of the Balearic Islands so that projects can be implemented using European funds from the Mechanism for Recovery and Resilience. These projects correspond to the initial 2023 annuity (the remainder incorporated into the 2024 annuity).
The purpose of this addendum is to comply with all the requirements demanded by the European Commission in terms of meeting the goals and objectives, justification and traceability of the projects and also to enable the transfer to the Autonomous Community of the Balearic Islands of the amount stipulated for the 2023 budget year (incorporated into 2024), which represents an amount of €26,893,211.58.
The agreement of the Consell de Govern empowers the Regional Minister for Families and Social Affairs to introduce the necessary non-substantial modifications to the clauses of the addendum.
