The councillor, together with the president of the Consell, Llorenç Galmés, the mayor of Calvià, Juan Antonio Amengual, the second deputy mayor of the municipality, Isabel Bonet, and the president and manager of the AECC in the Balearic Islands, José Reyes and Ana Belén Velasco, respectively, have toured the facilities.

Manuela García and the rest of the authorities were able to see the activities that the children are carrying out, such as the ‘Antioxidant Superpower of Fruit’ workshop, guided by monitors and volunteers from the Association in this summer camp, which ends on Monday 2 September and in which 40 children aged between 9 and 14 have taken part.

The councillor for Health emphasised the importance of the project, thanks to which ‘everyone lives in the same circumstances and can share the experience with people outside their usual environment, with fun activities’.
