The pieces that form part of the programme have been selected from among the more than 1,000 proposals between music and performing arts submitted through the open call that closed at the end of February.
Fira B! combines artistic programming and Professional Conferences dedicated to the sector, which will be held at the Mar i Terra Theatre.
The Performing Arts and Music Professional Days will include talks, workshops, presentations and speed meetings. The main themes of the professional conferences are collaboration and the creation of synergies, mediation and how to inhabit the public space from the living arts; as well as sustainability, co-production and tools for artists (rights, marketing, etc.), among others.
During the ceremony, the director of the IEB, Llorenç Perelló, announced that this year the Enderrock Balearic Music Awards 2024 will be presented within the programme of Fira B! On 6 November, the Teatre Principal will host the awards ceremony. ‘It is a way of creating synergies, not only with public institutions, but also with private companies that work in the field of music on the Islands,’ said Perelló.
