Eivissa and Formentera will take part in the Guardia Civil’s VI Ciberliga aimed at students in the 4th year of secondary school
The Ciberliga is a national competition organised by the Guardia Civil in which, in addition to the Balearic Islands, the autonomous communities of Cantabria, Castilla-La Mancha, Castilla y León, Galicia, the Canary Islands, Extremadura, Madrid and Navarra are taking part. The participants are 4th-year ESO students who will have to overcome different challenges that simulate real situations and are related to cybersecurity, such as identifying tricked images or fake news, intending to ensure safe browsing on the internet and social networks.
This cyber league is first developed by autonomous communities and then the regional winners, the best ones overcoming cyber challenges in the shortest time possible, will face a national competition to be held in March at the Officers’ Academy and the University Centre of the Civil Guard in Aranjuez (Madrid).
