The Municipal School of Music and Dance and the Antoni Torrandell Conservatory of Inca begin today a new academic year with a wide range of courses and a very positive evolution in terms of the number of students. In fact, for this school year 2024-2025, the centre has 180 students, which represents an increase of 20% over the previous year and 30% over 2022-2023.

The Conservatory d’Inca starts a new course with more students
‘After years of hard work and dedication, we have managed to consolidate the Conservatory’s educational proposal and position ourselves as a reference music school in the region,’ says the mayor of Inca, Virgilio Moreno.
For his part, the councillor of the Conservatory, Andreu Caballero, stresses that ‘now we want to go a step further and promote synergies with local entities that allow students to broaden their knowledge and, at the same time, be beneficial to the community’.
Thus, this new course the School of Music and Dance is maintaining its strategic alliances with the municipality’s musical ensembles. Thus, it will be the first course that, from the beginning, the band course will be carried out together with the Unión Musical Inquera; and the choral course will be offered together with the Orfeón el Harpa de Inca.
On the other hand, it should be noted that the Antoni Torrandell Conservatory is the only municipal conservatory that teaches the speciality of organs. This subject is offered thanks to the collaboration between the centre and the Community of San Francisco.
