The building, located on Carrer de El Ter, will house the council’s staff and improve citizens’ access to services.

The Consell de Govern has authorised the Regional Ministry of Enterprise, Employment and Energy to contract the interior refurbishment and updating of the facilities of the offices located at Carrer de El Ter, no. 16, in the Son Fuster industrial estate, specifically Tower B, a building that was acquired by the Autonomous Community of the Balearic Islands (CAIB) from Caixabank and which will house the Regional Ministry’s staff and improve citizens’ access to its services.

Empresa, Empleo y Energía will be able to contract the refurbishment works of the new offices in the Son Fuster industrial estate

The amount authorised for the refurbishment contract is 2,403,896.14 euros, plus 504,300.44 euros in VAT, making a total of 2,908,196.58 euros charged to the CAIB’s general budget for the year 2025. The drafting of the executive project for the adaptation has been carried out by the technical team of the Department of Architecture of the Directorate General of Housing and Architecture of the Autonomous Community.

Likewise, the responsibility for carrying out the works contract for the totality of the assigned facilities has been entrusted to the Regional Ministry of Enterprise, Employment and Energy.
