The deadline for submitting applications for both benefits is from 18 October to 8 November inclusive.

The Official Gazette of the Balearic Islands has published the rules for applying for financial benefits for people over 65 and for people with disabilities who are residents of the island of Eivissa. These are two calls for applications for benefits from the Department of Social Welfare, Family and Equality of the Consell de Eivissa, with 120,000 euros for the over-65s and 185,000 euros for the disabled.

The purpose of these economic benefits is to meet the needs of people over 65 years of age to be able to use their homes in suitable conditions and for their integration into the community when these beneficiaries do not have sufficient economic resources to meet their needs, and to meet the needs of people with disabilities to also be able to use their homes in suitable conditions and for their integration into the community when these beneficiaries do not have sufficient economic resources to meet their needs.

In the case of aid for the over 65s, beneficiaries may be people who are 65 years of age or older on the date the application is submitted, who can prove that they are residing on the island of Eivissa and have been doing so for the last twelve months before applying for the benefit and have a per capita income of the economic unit of cohabitation equal to or less than 21,000 euros.

Those under 65 years of age on the date the application is submitted, who have a recognised degree of disability equal to or greater than 33% or who are in receipt of a Social Security pension for permanent total, absolute or severe disability, or who are a pensioner of passive retirement or retirement due to permanent incapacity for service or uselessness, resident on the island of Eivissa and have a per capita income of the economic unit of cohabitation equal to or less than 21,000 euros, may be beneficiaries of the aid for people with disabilities.

The needs of the beneficiaries of both grants must be related to rehabilitation, mobility, adaptation to the home and technical aids.

The deadline for submitting applications is 8 November in the case of people over 65 years of age and also in the case of people with disabilities. Applications must be submitted at the General Registry of the Consell Insular de Eivissa, and there is also the possibility of recording applications electronically at the Electronic Headquarters, where the documents to be filled in can be consulted.
