The collegiate advisory body is made up of representatives of culture in the Balearic Islands, from both private and public entities.

The Government of the Balearic Islands has set up the La Llotja Technical Committee. With the aim of making use of La Llotja as an art exhibition space, it is of particular interest to have a collegiate consultative body made up of representatives of the culture of the Balearic Islands, both from private and public entities, to give a more participatory nature to this body with advisory and consultative functions.

The commission will have the function of advising on art matters in relation to exhibitions or displays in the Llotja building. It will also carry out advisory functions of a non-prescriptive and non-binding nature on draft bills, draft decrees and administrative procedures which, in matters of art, affect the Llotja building as a space for cultural events. It will also promote coordination between public and private initiatives to encourage the use of the Llotja as an art exhibition space.
