The new winter timetables for the TIB intercity bus service in Mallorca’s TIB network come into effect on Friday 1st November, bringing back last winter’s timetables, when a significant increase was introduced on 53% of the lines. In this way, the reinforcement of the service on 27 lines of the network has been consolidated, and this year specific improvements have also been added to the lines that connect the main centres of the part forana with Palma.

This is the case of line 401, Cala Millor-Palma, which maintains the 30-minute frequency it had this summer during the winter months. Line 501 has also improved compared to last winter with the addition of three Palma-Campos express services in the afternoon, the extension of connections between Felanitx and Manacor in the last hour of the day, and the addition of a Palma-Manacor service departing at 6:15 am to achieve the base frequency of 30 minutes in the early morning as well.

For its part, line 504, Tolleric-Palma, reinforces the first hour of weekdays, with the first service from S’Arenal at 6:00 am, and another from Tolleric that will arrive in Palma at around 6:50 am. In the Ponent area, line 101, Port d’Andratx-Palma, maintains the 6:10 a.m. departure from Port d’Andratx from Monday to Saturday, as has been the case during the last few years.

There are also improvements on other lines, such as the 518, sa Ràpita-Campos, which becomes a regular service and is no longer provided as an on-demand service with prior reservation. Lines 441, Ariany-Maria-Sineu, and 442, which serve Sant Joan, will add a service at the end of the day.

Information on the timetables and routes of the lines is available on the website www.tib.org. Passengers interested in receiving updated information on the TIB network service can register in the Tib i tu user area, choose their preferred lines and receive service notifications. They can also keep up to date with the movements of their Intermodal Card at all times.
