The Conselleria d’Educació i Universitats opens the call for accreditation of the standards of competence of 17 professional qualifications

They belong to the following professional families: Physical and Sports Activities, Agriculture, Electricity and Electronics, Hotel and Catering and Tourism, Computer and Communications, Food Industries, Wood, Furniture and Cork and Vehicle Transport and Maintenance.

The Conselleria d’Educació i Universitats, through the Institute of Professional Qualifications of the Balearic Islands (IQPIB), has published in the BOIB number 149, of 14 November 2024, the Resolution of the Minister of Education and Universities by which the procedure of accreditation of competences acquired through work experience or other non-formal and informal means is announced.

The Conselleria d’Educació i Universitats opens the call for accreditation of the standards of competence of 17 professional qualifications

This call makes it possible to assess and accredit the standards of competence of 17 professional qualifications that until now had not been offered:

Physical and Sports Activities (AFD).

– Instruction in the Pilates method.

Agriculture (AGA)

– Forestry reforestation and silvicultural treatments.

– Operations with tractors and agricultural machinery.

– Management of conventional and/or ecological agricultural production.

Electricity and Electronics (ELE)

– Development of electronic equipment and systems.

– Project development and management of collaborative robotics systems.

Hospitality and Tourism (HOT)

– Cutting and tasting of cured ham and shoulder ham.

Information Technology and Communications (IFC)

– Ancillary operations with digital technologies.

– Operations with digital enabling technologies.

– Interaction programming in 2D and 3D environments: virtual reality, augmented reality and video games.

– Management of cloud resources and services.

– Deployment of software products in containers.

Food Industries (INA)

– Enotechnics.

Wood, Furniture and Cork (MAM)

– Application of varnishes and lacquers on carpentry and furniture elements.

– Finishing of carpentry and furniture.

– Assembly and installation of wooden constructions.

Transport and Maintenance of Vehicles (TMV).

– Maintenance of the engine and electrical, safety and comfort systems of agricultural, extractive industry, building and civil engineering machinery.

The recipients of this accreditation procedure are persons with unaccredited work experience or with non-formal training in the professional competence standards linked to these qualifications.

The requirements for participation and the necessary documentation to formalise registration are detailed in the Resolution published in the BOIB no. 146 of 7 November 2024, which establishes the bases of the procedure.
