2.2 million is allocated as an extraordinary contribution to the Foundation for Care and Support for Dependency

On the one hand, it is in response to the recognition of the difficult-to-cover supplement on the island of Eivissa, for an amount of 1,130,686 euros.

On the other hand, two compulsory expenses for a salary increase for 2023 and 2024, totalling 1,112,079 euros.

The Consell de Govern has authorised the councillor for Families and Social Affairs to allocate a maximum expenditure of 2,242,766.35 euros as an extraordinary contribution to the Foundation for Care and Support for Dependency and Promotion of Personal Autonomy. This expenditure will be used to cover the increase in remuneration not included in the Foundation’s budget for 2024.

2.2 million is allocated as an extraordinary contribution to the Foundation for Care and Support for Dependency

The amount responds, on the one hand, to an extraordinary contribution to meet the expenses derived from the recognition of the difficult-to-cover supplement on the island of Eivissa, for an amount of 1,130,686.83 euros. On the other hand, it also corresponds to an extraordinary contribution of 1,112,079.52 euros to meet the following compulsory expenses:

-The additional 0.5% increase in remuneration for the year 2023 with effect from 1 January 2023 and the 0.5% increase approved in October 2023, amounting to 440,044.47 euros.

-The 2% increase in remuneration for the year 2024, amounting to 672,035.065 euros.
