The Councillor for the Presidency, Antoni Fuster, stressed that ‘this grant allows us to make significant progress in modernising our administration, making it more accessible and efficient for all citizens’. Fuster added that ‘implementing these actions will help us to reduce the digital divide, increase the efficiency of our public employees and take advantage of emerging technologies to offer new digital services adapted to the needs of today’s society’.

The project has enabled the implementation of modernisation actions and the acquisition of the necessary equipment to facilitate accessibility and the efficient use of digital services. Through these improvements, the Consell de Mallorca is making progress in meeting several strategic objectives for public administrations, such as reducing the digital divide, increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of public employees, and reusing existing digital services and solutions. Emerging technologies have also been harnessed to develop new digital services adapted to citizens’ needs.
