Work on the centre, which will have 120 places, has been awarded to Cobra Infraestructuras hidráulicas S.A.
The residence, which began construction in January 2020, is expected to be ready in the first half of 2026.
The Consorcio de recursos sanitarios y asistenciales has awarded the works for the Son Martorell residence, in Palma, for 8,209,807.38 euros (including taxes) to Cobra Infraestructuras hidráulicas S.A. The estimate is that, with this contract, the works, which began on 10 January 2020 and which should have been completed in 2022, will be ready in the first half of 2026.

The Regional Ministry of Families and Social Affairs awards the works on the Son Martorell residence for 8.2 million euros
The total estimated cost of the execution of the works will be 17,858,556.91 €, between own funds of the Regional Ministry of Families and Social Affairs and European REACT-EU funds. This budget includes among others the 3,686,485 € received by the UTE Construcciones Alea, SL-Emergis Construcción SL, with whom the contract was terminated for breach of contract. It also includes the €2,827,223 received by Tragsa and those from the tender awarded to Cobra Infraestructuras hidráulicas S.A.
Located on Xesc Forteza and Nadal Batle streets in Palma, the Son Martorell residence will have 120 residential places. From the architectural point of view, the project by Paredes Pedrosa Arquitectos SLP contemplates a structure of three volumes arranged on two floors of six modules with 18 rooms for 20 people each. The volumes will be connected through common areas.
