The 1st cat in Lloseta, is lost. Help us to find him and give him a happy ending
Miquel, the rescued cat and star of the 2025 calendar, is lost in Cristóbal Colón Street in Lloseta. Help us to find him.
Miquel is a cat with a movie story and no wonder! Although everything seems to indicate that he once had a family, for reasons we still don’t know, he ended up on the street. Poor thing! But, as in any good superhero movie, the Comissió de Benestar Animal de Lloseta took action and gave him a second chance.

The 1st cat in Lloseta, is lost
At first, Miquel was in a very bad way: very thin, with cancer in his ears, a pellet in his back and his teeth in a very bad state. But, after a few visits to the vet and a lot of love, the cancer was removed, and even his ears were removed! So now he has a very peculiar look, but he is still just as adorable. He also had his damaged teeth removed and, of course, was neutered.
Miquel is considered to be of advanced age, probably around 10 years old! But, despite being an older cat, he has shown that age does not prevent him from being the star of the Comissió de Benestar Animal’s 2025 calendar, where he appears as an example of hope and courage.
During his recovery, Miquel found a foster home where he became a chubby, shy and very, very good cat, no longer the cat of the street, but the king of the house! But, unfortunately, he was lost in the street Cristóbal Colón in Lloseta. We know he’s not far away, so if you see him, don’t hesitate to let us know!

From the Comissió de Benestar Animal we want to remind you that cats are not just pets, they see us as part of their family! They are animals full of love that create a special bond with humans. They also bring luck to homes. In many cultures, owning a cat is a symbol of prosperity, and a white cat, like Miquel, is considered a magnet for positive energy! White cats represent purity, protection and tranquillity, as well as being adorable companions.

Did you know that having a cat at home has many benefits? Their purr has a relaxing effect that reduces stress and anxiety. They are animals that foster empathy and improve your mood with their presence. And, although they are independent, they are always there to give you a cuddle or a tender look when you need it most.
We also want to stress the importance of adopting and giving a second chance. Most of the cats that appear on the street are abandoned. They are animals that do not know how to survive in these conditions, wandering from doorway to doorway looking for their owners, disoriented and exposed to the cold and dangers. A house cat does not know how to hunt and needs a home to feel safe and protected.
