Combined vaccination against the flu and Covid-19 begins in the health centres of the Balearic Islands
37,851 people are already scheduled to receive the combined flu and COVID-19 vaccination, which begins today at health centres throughout the Balearic Islands. This campaign, which lasts until 21 November, is aimed at a target population of 116,132 people, made up of the following groups:

People aged 70 and over vaccinated with any vaccine.
People aged 65-69 years vaccinated with the Janssen vaccine.

This combined vaccination against influenza and COVID-19 has involved organisational changes in the influenza vaccination campaign compared to what was usual in past campaigns, in order to achieve maximum effectiveness. Appointments are made through the Infovacuna service, which has already called 50,000 people and closed 37,851 appointments (26,432 in Mallorca, 4,791 in Menorca, and 6,628 in Ibiza and Formentera).

The combined vaccination will be carried out at health centres throughout the Balearic Islands. In Mallorca, in addition, appointments will also be made at the Son Dureta vaccination centres and at the COVID Exprés in Inca and Manacor.
