Exelearning is an open-source authoring tool to help teachers create and publish web content and interactive digital resources. This tool allows the creation of digital educational content for viewing in a browser, in an e-book reader and even for printing. In other words, it facilitates the creation of digital educational content by simply focusing on the content and letting the tool take care of the technologies. The application will take care of exporting the contents to one format or another depending on what we choose and will allow us to forget about the process.

Moreover, Exelearning is the ideal tool for creating open educational resources, as it allows any user to create materials and modify already created resources easily and free of charge and on any operating system, and allows customisation according to the context of the classroom and the target audience.

To create free and open educational digital resources available to the educational community.

The signing of this collaboration protocol will make it possible to disseminate the Exelearning tool and the banks of open educational resources among teachers by means of training actions that will enable the implementation of the Exelearning 3.0 tool, as well as to initiate projects for the creation and publication of open educational resources.

It also aims at collaboration between the signatory parties for the promotion, dissemination and evolutionary development of the Exelearning application as a tool for the creation of open educational digital resources available to the educational community.

Once signed, this Protocol will be valid for four years.

It is a further step in the school digitalisation plan being carried out by the Regional Ministry of Education and Vocational Training. At the end of January, the collaboration with Samsung for the creation of the Classroom of the Future in the IBSTEAM CEP was launched and in the coming months new agreements and protocols are expected to be signed to promote digital transformation in schools.
