This year, as a novelty, all the concerts will be held on Friday afternoons in order to reach a wider audience.
On the other hand, this year all the concerts will be given by women with a long career and recognised prestige.
During the months of November and December, the Church of Santa María la Mayor in Inca will host the organ concert series for the seventh consecutive year. The initiative, unlike in previous years when it was held on Thursdays on market day, will be moved to Fridays in 2022 in order to reach a wider and more varied audience.

Thus, the main purpose of this music festival is to bring the organ to the general public and, in addition, to raise awareness of the heritage value of both this instrument and the entire parish of Inca. On the other hand, the series of concerts also serves to promote the city for tourism and attract visitors from other places interested in culture and music.
Another novelty of this seventh edition is that all the participating organists will be women, with the intention of vindicating the role of women in the world of music. Thus, the renowned musicians Francisca Suau Artigues, Bárbara Duran Bordoy, Ruth Albrecht and Tiana Siquier Bennàssar will be the protagonists of these four organ concerts. The performances, lasting approximately 30 minutes, will take place every Friday at 8.15 pm, after mass, from 25th November to 23rd December.
The VII Cycle of Organ Concerts is organised by Santa Maria la Major and Bernat Forteza, with the sponsorship of the Town Council of Inca and the collaboration of the Pastoral Unit of the Virgin and the Es Convent Foundation.
