The Consell de Govern has approved this Monday the decree that sets the calendar of non-working days in 2023 for the purposes of administrative calculation.
In accordance with section 7 of article 31 of Law 39/2015, of 1 October, on the common administrative procedure of public administrations, the calendar approved by the autonomous communities must include the non-working days of the local entities corresponding to their territorial scope, to which it is applicable. Consequently, Autonomous Community rule also has effects at the municipal level.
Moreover, the non-working days will be directly related to the days that are declared public holidays, for the working purposes, of the Autonomous Community. Therefore, given the processes that establish public holidays in the field of employment, which include consultation and participation of the economic sectors, it is necessary to publish and make public the calendar of public holidays for administrative purposes based essentially on these public holidays in the field of employment in order to be able to receive allegations.
