Social Security enrollment remains at more than 20.8 million in mid-December

Social Security enrollment

Social Security enrollment exceeds 20.8 million in mid-December. Specifically, the daily enrollment figure recorded as of December 15 amounts to 20,889,189 members.

Since the beginning of the year, job creation stands at 524,599 people. The increase recorded by the original series, 581,315 persons, is above the average of the last decade.

With the data up to December 15, the total number of registered workers has grown by 1.4 million people since the beginning of the pandemic. On the other hand, the seasonally adjusted average enrollment data for the last two fortnights stands at 27,502 people.
