The Inca Town Council and the Training Centre have held a closing ceremony to mark the end of the Inca Tupí mixed project in the wood sector that has been carried out over the last few months, within the framework of the SOIB Jove Formación y Empleo (SOIB Young Training and Employment) programme. This programme is financed with SOIB funds, with the participation of the SEPE and the European Social Fund.

Closing of the mixed SOIB Jove Training and Employment

Thus, thanks to this initiative, a total of 11 student-workers have been able to participate in a training plan for 12 months, which combines training and apprenticeship while developing effective work in the city council.

Specifically, this project has improved the municipal facilities, the educational facilities, and the equipment of the natural space of Serral Park and has provided new structures and wooden elements in the various municipal buildings.

“We are very pleased with the good results we get with this type of programme, in which students learn by working and can put all the knowledge into practice. We aim to promote employment among groups with greater difficulties in finding a quality job”, says the Councillor for Training and Employment, Maria Francisca Barceló.
