For the first time, pediatric and adult emergencies follow separate circuits.

The Hospital Comarcal de Inca now has a new space for the Pediatric Emergency Service, which has 400 m2 of surface area and houses a triage room, a cardiopulmonary resuscitation room, three examination rooms and three nebulization rooms for asthmatic patients or those with bronchiolitis, as well as two observation chairs and two observation stretchers, a procedure room and two short-stay unit rooms.

The president of the government, Margalida Prohens, visited the new pediatric emergency area. A space that has been decorated by Guillermo Martí Jaume, from the Mallorcan company Margen Digital 2.0. Its walls are illustrated with the story of Toniet, a boy who runs several adventures through prehistory, the jungle, the world of insects, the old American West, etc. The consulting rooms, the waiting room and the triage areas are decorated with the stories of this young adventurer.

The president of the government also attended the arrival of the Three Wise Men at the Hospital de Inca and accompanied them on their tour of the maternity and children’s ward of the health centre.
