CAIB’s adhesion to FLA 2024 is approved

FLA 2024

The Consell de Govern has approved today the adhesion of the Autonomous Community of the Balearic Islands to the compartment Autonomous Liquidity Fund of the Financing Fund to Autonomous Communities of the year 2024, created by the Royal Decree Law 17/2014, of December 26, on measures of financial sustainability of the autonomous communities and local entities and others of an economic nature.

In addition, it has been agreed to assume the commitment to allocate the funds received through the compartment Autonomous Community Liquidity Fund to the financing needs approved by the Government Delegate Commission for Economic Affairs. Likewise, it is approved to comply with the provisions of the Program for the application of the Autonomous Community Liquidity Fund Compartment of the Financing Fund for Autonomous Communities for the 2024 financial year, approved by the Agreement of the Government Delegate Commission for Economic Affairs of December 15, 2023.

The Govern is committed to complying with the provisions of the Organic Law 2/2012, of April 27, on budgetary stability and financial sustainability; the Royal Decree Law 17/2014; the agreements of the Fiscal and Financial Policy Council and the Government Delegate Commission for Economic Affairs, and the provisions that deploy this funding mechanism. Thus, the Consell de Govern has empowered the Councilor of Economy, Finance and Innovation to carry out the actions and subscribe to the necessary documents to meet these conditions.
