The Regional Ministry of Education and Universities has opened the deadline for submitting applications and the corresponding documentation to participate in the second period of training stays in companies for vocational training teachers.

Second period of training placements in companies for VET teachers

The call is addressed to secondary school teachers and technical teachers of vocational training who teach vocational training cycles in public centres dependent on the Regional Ministry of Education and Universities or training cycles in private centres.

The training stays in companies are an important tool in the continuing education of VET teachers, since they reinforce the professional skills of teachers through experiences in a real working environment; they improve the knowledge of working procedures, instrumentation and new methods of organization of production processes, and create synergies between companies, schools and teachers.

These training placements can be carried out between March 2, 2024, and July 15, 2024, in any company or entity (organizations or institutions) in the Balearic Islands, the Spanish State or the European Union, provided that the professional activity is related to the professional profile of the student and the professional profile of the company.

The application for participation must be made through the telematic process enabled for this purpose on the website of the Directorate General for Vocational Training and Educational Planning and the necessary documentation must be attached. In any case, a copy of the application must be sent to the e-mail address assessor6@cfinfp.cat.

The deadline for submitting applications and the corresponding documentation is January 26, 2024.
