Stuttgart Tourism Fair

Stuttgart has hosted this weekend the fair dedicated to active tourism, Fahrrad & Wanderreisen (Bicycle and Hiking Trips), where Mallorca has had an active presence with its stand. It is an event based on some of the priority products of the island’s offer, such as hiking and cycling tourism.

During these days (January 12-15) Mallorca has approached the German market with the richness of the active tourism products of Mallorca to the main German media and tour operators. Together with the Fundació Mallorca Turisme (FMT), different co-exhibitors have participated representing several areas of the island, such as the municipalities of Capdepera, Alcúdia, Santanyí, Felanitx, Sóller and Pollença, as well as the Pla de Mallorca.

Hotel groups such as Hoteles Saint Michel, JS Hotels, Garden Hotels, Summum Hotel Group and Pure Salt Hotels have also been part of the group of co-exhibitors.

The Foundation has come to Stuttgart with a stand in which the Pledge, Commitment to Responsible Tourism, has been the main message, as it was the case in the last World Travel Market (WTM) in London.

Mallorca’s offer, both in active tourism and the strategic line of tourism management, which represents a turning point in terms of a different conception of tourism, integrating sustainability, coexistence and respect for the natural environment, has received an excellent reception in Germany these days.
