The Ministry of Health has accredited the Hospital Comarcal de Inca to train medical specialists in internal medicine. This is the third speciality at the Raiguer health centre to receive this training accreditation, after the Pharmacy and Digestive System units.

The Ministry of Health grants this accreditation based on the levels of quality of care, research, teaching and training capacity offered by a hospital. The Specialised Healthcare Training Commission of the Hospital Comarcal de Inca has been in charge of compiling and preparing all the necessary documentation to achieve this accreditation, which recognises the healthcare capacity and quality of the health centre.

The Pharmacy Unit at the Hospital de Inca will be available for new residents to complete the training process, and in 2025 the Digestive System and Internal Medicine units will also be available for selection.

The training of specialists represents a leap in quality for the Hospital Comarcal de Inca.
