The institutional delegation will be led by the President of the Consell, Llorenç Galmés, together with the Councillor for Tourism, José Marcial Rodríguez, and the Director of Tourism for Demand and Hospitality, Susanna Sciacovelli, among other authorities.

Agenda
The agenda of the representatives in Mallorca will begin on 23 January with the presence of President Galmés, Councillor Rodríguez and Director Sciacovelli at the Exceltur Forum.
Later, on the 24th, the first day of the fair, a promotional event will be held: Mallorca in essence. This is the creation of a networking space around a dinner attended by the main representatives of the tourism and business sector. It will also be attended by profiles of a prescriptive nature to generate a promotional space through which to project a Mallorca that respects its environment and is a benchmark of quality.

The produce that will be tasted at this event will be entirely local and Km 0, through the preparations of two Mallorcan chefs with Michelin star Green: Maca de Castro and Andreu Genestra. The menu will include products from the Mallorcan garden, land and sea, as well as wines produced on the island.
On Thursday, 25th January, the progress of the Commitment to Responsible Tourism will be presented. This will take place at 11:00h, in the context of the panel of Island Councils that will be held at the Illes Balears stand. The President of the Consell de Mallorca, Llorenç Galmés, will be in charge of announcing the latest developments in this regard.
On the same day, the premiere of the film Faro (Lighthouse) will take place. The film was shot largely in Mallorca and stars the famous actor Hugo Silva. It will take place at 20:00h at the Palacio de la Prensa cinemas. Before that, at 3:00 pm at the Balearic Islands stand at Fitur, the cast of actors and the film’s director, Ángeles Hernández, will present the film’s trailer.
In addition to this programme of activities, the Mallorcan delegation will be holding a full schedule of meetings and gatherings with representatives of the international trade who are currently in Madrid.
