160,000 euros to the same marketer for renting out four flats

The tourist inspection service of the Consell de Eivissa detected the advertisements for these properties on several marketing portals and found the infringements that were the object of the complaint: advertising, contracting and marketing of the properties without having presented the corresponding declaration of tourist activity or prior notification. In the four cases, the fines of 40,000 euros already reflect the minimum sanction amount that was modified by law thanks to the demands made by Eivissa in the last legislature.

All the dwellings described, located in the same building, are not susceptible to tourist commercialisation on the island of Eivissa. The advertising of all of them was carried out without having presented a declaration of responsibility for the commencement of the tourist activity, and without being registered in the Island Register of Tourist Companies, Activities and Establishments. The properties were advertised on platforms and social networks with availability calendars, check-in and check-out indications, booking cancellations, and other services.
