The deadline for applying for the 90% IBI

Large families in Inca can now apply for the Property Tax rebate, which can be up to 90% off the quota. The application deadline is 30 March.

This year, Inca Town Council has modified the ordinance regulating this tax to extend its benefits to large families. Thus, the requirements have been changed to be able to have access to this help and in this way, the number of families who will be able to opt for this discount has been considerably increased.

With this new regulation, the consistory of the capital of Raiguer will grant large family discounts to a total of 379 families in the IBI, during 2024. The discount that is applied varies according to the cadastral value of the property under certain parameters that are detailed in the text of the ordinance, granting a higher percentage of discount to properties with a lower cadastral value.

In this way, with the bonus for large families, Inca Town Hall will reduce the estimated amount of 53,189.74 € in the year 2024.

At the same time, the period to apply for the economic capacity rebate for the manure collection, transport, treatment and disposal service fee and the drinking water supply service fee is also open. Both discounts can be applied based on economic capacity until the end of March.

Applications can be made in person at the Town Hall of Inca, requesting an appointment in advance through the electronic office.

1,500,000 euros subsidised in 2023

The Inca Town Council maintained its policy of tax benefits and, year after year, ensured tax benefits in its budgets. Thus, the tax ordinances will provide incentives worth a total of approximately 1,500,000 euros in 2023 for Inca residents.

These figures include the bonuses/exemptions that are applied to the non-taxable manure tax, the drinking water tax, the tax on constructions, installations and works, the tax on mechanical traction vehicles, the property tax, the tax on economic activities and the tax on the increase in value of urban land.

For example, last year, tax rebates/exemptions were applied to the mechanical traction vehicle tax (IVTM) amounting to more than 346,034 euros. There are also tax rebates on the tax on the increase in value of urban land (IVTNU), amounting to 128,694 euros. Concerning property tax (IBI), exemptions/allowances amounted to approximately 600,000 euros. 166,142 euros were also reduced in the tax on constructions, installations and works (ICIO), among other discounts and reductions that are applied, year after year, to municipal taxes and fees.
