The IEB

\ The call has an amount of 1,150,000 euros.

The Consell de Govern has authorized the Institute of Balearic Studies (IEB), an entity attached to the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sports, to process a call for grants to support fairs, festivals, meetings, conferences and awards in the world of culture that promote the external projection and that take place in the territory of the Balearic Islands during the year 2024.

With an amount of 1,150,000 euros, it aims to promote the creation and production of theatre, music, film and audiovisual, literary, dance and combined arts, as well as its national and international dissemination.

This line of subsidies is part of the Strategic Plan of the Community to support events that promote the external projection, recruitment, mobility between islands, technical and artistic accompaniment of music, performing arts, visual and audiovisual arts or literature of the Balearic Islands.

Likewise, the meeting approved the call for grants for the year 2024 for the Catalan-language media in the Balearic Islands for an amount of 720,000 euros.
