The Directorate General of Universities and Higher Artistic Education of the Ministry of Education and Universities has announced the travel grants for students from the Balearic Islands who are pursuing official studies in higher artistic education in the European Union during the academic year 2023-2024.

Education increases from 600 to 1,000 € travel grants for students

In this year’s call has been made a commitment to increase the aid, which has gone from 600 to 1,000 euros, to cover travel expenses not subsidized by other official or private aid, which represents an increase of 67%. As for the displacement of instruments, the aid is up to 400 € per applicant to cover the additional costs of transporting a special musical instrument. Priority is given to instruments such as the cello, guitar and tuba.

The beneficiaries of these grants are students residing in the Balearic Islands who have to move outside their island of residence to pursue higher artistic studies in the European Union.

The application period will be open from today, February 28, until April 15, 2024. Applications can be submitted electronically.
