Planned seats on international flights for March reach 8.5 million, up 13.6% from a year ago

Planned seats on international flights for March reach 8.5 million

The total number of seats expected on international flights to Spain for March 2024 reaches 8.5 million, according to data released today by Turespaña. Compared to the same month in 2023, when 7.5 million were offered, the year-on-year increase is 13.6%.

Comparing the forecasts for the number of seats in March 2024 with the data recorded on the same date in 2023, the good performance of the main issuing markets to Spain continues: the United Kingdom (+7.2%), Germany (+17.3%) and Italy (+21.6%).

Also noteworthy are the sharp rises in Poland, up 83.8%, the Czech Republic, with 53.1% more, and Austria, with over 26.3% growth.

In addition, markets such as Ireland, Colombia and Turkey also posted significant increases of more than 10% in March.
